Who We Are

 

Usability Architects, Inc., is a small firm which leverages its capabilities through the association, cooperation, and coordination with a number of associate consultants, contractors and professionals in human factors, usability, and the development of interactive computer systems. We will endeavor to meet your needs ourselves or through the services of one of our associates. If necessary, we  will organize a team of usability experts, marketing research professionals, graphic designers, and other appropriate professionals to meet your needs.

The president and founder of Usability Architects, Inc. is Jon Meads, an internationally known expert on human-computer interaction and interactive computer graphics.  He has served as an ACM Lecturer, Advisor to the ACM Special Interest Group on Computer-Human Interaction (SIGCHI) and was co-chair of the 1990 Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems (CHI ‘90).

David D. Stubbs, is Usability Architects' Oregon Manager. In this role, David is responsible for providing services to our clients in the Portland area, either through personal consulting or by providing and managing contractors. David is an experienced human factors engineer and manager and has been active with SIGCHI for over a decade. He is currently Chair of the Computer-Human Interaction Forum Of Oregon (CHIFOO).

Our Manager of Administrative Operations is Linda Berg. Linda was Manager of Membership Services with the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) before moving to the Seattle area.
